Theater Lamp
Things You Should Know About Projector Lamp
Projector lamp we use do not able to function properly. There comes a time should be replaced with new equipment. Too often we replace the projector lamp will reduce our budgets to get savings. But there are some general tips that can help to prolong the lives of a headlamp for the projection unit.
Avoid touching the lamp with bare hands
The main problems we encounter are often people replace the lamp with bare hands. While this is good for ordinary light bulbs, not a good practice for the projector lamp. Projection lamp much hotter than regular bulbs. Effect of skin touched with bare hands will cause burns or something more than that.
Avoiding the projector bulb with bare skin leaves traces on the surface of the oil lamps. Although this may seem a very small detail, it would be detrimental both to the bulb and the quality of the resulting multimedia display. Oil will be burned into the light and drastically reduces the age. As fuel oil to the surface, actually diffuses the projected light, reducing the lumen is sent to the surface of bias. The light will not be perfect for projecting an image that has come to expect from home theater projection system. While the problem may not appear at first gradually as the projector lamp life, the quality will decrease to a point that can not be seen.
Do not forget to turn off the projector power after turn off the lights
Highly recommended to power off the projector to the “off” position only after the turn off the lights and let it cool. This will allow the cooling fan to do their jobs. While rapid cooling and heating to produce repeated contraction and expansion from the filament bulbs, it is much better done faster with the cooling fan. Likewise, turn the projector and let the cooling fan to run briefly before lighting the lamp will help, too. This will increase the age for life expectancy and the light makes it possible to look again at the comfort of home theater projection system.
Projector equipment movement
Kept bumping or moving the projector, especially while the heat can be very harmful light projector. Filament in the bulb lost almost all tensile strength when it is heated during normal use. Much more similar to the filament in a camp lantern. The principle is the same; filament effectively become almost the same consistency as ashes, making it extremely vulnerable to damage when hot. Even after proper cooling, very sensitive filament lamps. Care must be taken when moving the projector for any reason. Although always a good idea to be careful with consumer electronics, some aspects of home projector was actually a bit more sensitive.
This will usually be required to move the projector when cleaning the filter. As usual, it is a good idea to move it carefully without jerking it around or hit it more than necessary. Taking the extra time or two to check and make sure the projector mount is still safe locks can also be useful and prevent slippage and movement that may be harmful.
Thus through a little care and preventative maintenance, the projector lamp would still have changed, but not too often and more efficiently.
